Welcome to Hunterdon Family Eye Care where we provide our patients with the best in eye health care. We are a
multi-disciplinary optometric practice, offering adult and pediatric vision care, in a warm, inclusive, caring environment. Our office has been serving the Hunterdon County community for over twenty nine years, and has built a reputation for
providing excellent routine, medical and behavioral vision care.
Good vision is too important to take for granted. At our optometry office, your vision, the health of your eyes, and
helping you function better in a school, work/retirement and athletic setting are our main concerns.
The office has state-of-the-art imaging equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. We currently
perform diagnostic testing for glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes, retinal disease and various other ocular conditions. Many ocular
diseases are treated here in the office. Contact lens fittings for lenses of all types are our specialty, including hard to fit lenses that correct for astigmatism, that are multifocal (distance, computer-range and reading), and scleral lenses for corneal diseases. We co-manage with LASIK and cataract specialists for those patients wanting or needing these services.
Hunterdon Vision Therapy Center, LLC provides vision therapy/neuro-optometric rehabilitation for childhood learning-related vision and visual skills issues, and for the rehabilitation of traumatic brain
injury/stroke, vision, and visual skills issues.
Our optical holds a wide variety of styles and designers. Our frame selection is extensive and includes: Barton Perreira, Etnia Barcelona, Face a Face, Gucci, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Maui Jim, Oakley, LA Eyeworks, Nike, Pro Design, Ray-Ban, Salt, Silhouette, Wiley-X, Rec-Specs, an extensive sunglass collection including Maui Jim, and other boutique collections and name brand sports eyewear. We have a new in-office finishing lab for a quick turn-around time on your eyewear. All our opticians are fully licensed. We would like to welcome our newest opticians, Sal Cordaro and Victoria Phillips, to the office.
As professionals in the field of optometry, we are able to provide you with comprehensive eye examinations to not
only correct refractive errors, but also detect underlying vision and eye health problems, including visually-related learning deficits, and those from traumatic brain injuries. Our optometrists can discover a developing eye or brain-eye condition and begin treatment right away – often before it severely
affects your vision.
