Eye Care by Age Group
No matter your age, routine eye examinations (typically every two years for healthy adults) are important to maintain optimal eye health. Comprehensive eye exams – not just basic vision screenings – should be conducted not only to determine proper prescriptions for refractive errors, but also to catch early warning signs of eye disease and other health risks.
Certain age groups need to be even more vigilant with eye care because of developmental or age-related eye issues. If you or a family member fall into one of these age groups, be sure to review:

If it has been two or more years since your last eye examination or if your children have not had the recommended exam for their age group, contact your optometrist to schedule a comprehensive eye examination.
