Myopia is an eye condition where objects that are close to you are clear, however, objects far away are blurry. This is caused by the eye being slightly long.
Myopia can happen to children and adults. Research has shown that there are ways to prevent the progression of myopia, and the younger the person is, the better our treatment process will work.
There are three treatment options for controlling myopia; We can use atropine, soft multifocal contact lenses, and orthokeratology.
Atropine has the ability to slow myopia, without significant mydriasis and cycloplegia. It is available at a low dosage through a compounding pharmacy.
